Aam Admi Party to file a case of defamation against mediasarkar.com
New Delhi : A day after a sting operation conducted by mediasarkar.com in which AAP leader, Kumar Vishwas and Shazia Ilmi displayed accepting the funds through illegal means are shown in various news channels.
Yogendra Yadav, Senior leader of AAP told to media that “Our party holds the full confidence on all the election candidates of AAP and the sting operation which is being displayed on various media channels is entirely doctored CD
and we have already asked the mediasarkar.com to provide us an unedited CD of this sting operation but the same has not been provided by them, so we will file a case of defamation against this web portal”.
Yadav also indicated that they will file a plaint in the News Broadcaster’s Association (NBA) and Press Council of India (PCI) against those new channel who are showing this sting operation .
Kumar Vishwas said , this CD is totally doctored and various chunks of the entire conversation is missing in this version of the sting operation.
AAP has also requested the Election Commission to take the cognizance in this matter and order an immediate investigation of this CD and also pleaded for the immediate ban on the telecast of this sting operation since this is totally a
Election driven activity promoted by Congress and BJP who felt threatened by the popularity of Aam Admi Party.
