CBI questioned Jindal in Coal Scam

CBI facilitates Jindal to question at unknown place.After a long wait, CBI has questioned Congress MP Navin Jindal, accused in the coal scam today. CBI team questioned Jindal to an unknown place. As per sources Mr Jindal requested to CBI to be discreet and avoid tipping off the media.As per sources it is ususual for the investigation agency to help accused in any sense. But CBI did it previously also in the case of former air chief SP Tyagi, who was also interrogated at some unknown place.

CBI registered FIR against Navin Jindal in the month of June since then he was dodging his questioning. In this duration he went to London.

As per FIR CBI alleges that Jindal’s Firm Jindal Steel and Power limited (JSPL) made nexus with the then Minister of State for Coal Dasari Narayan Rao to influence the screening committee that allocated coal blocks.
