CONGRESS ACCUSES AAP OF PROTECTING ITS MINISTERS, SAYS AAP TRYING TO IMPLEMENT ROWLATT ACT
Reacting to the latest round of agitation by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Delhi Congress president Arvinder Singh Lovely today said that, looking at the current situation in the national capital it seems that the AAP is trying to implement the Rowlatt act of the British times.
Addressing a press conference, Lovely said, “A very unusual situation has come up in Delhi. People who are supposed to protect the constitution are trying to destroy it. It seems that AAP wants to implement the Rowlatt Act of British times again.”
He further said, “They are raiding houses without a warrant or permission, and protesting on streets demanding suspension of officers. Neither is there an appeal or lawyer. They are not following any law.”
Former Delhi minister Haroon Yusuf said that Kejriwal was sitting on dharna only to defend and protect his ministers Somnath Bharti and Rakhi Birla.
