EC SLAPPED A NOTICE TO ARVIND KEJRIWAL
New Delhi : Just after a day when a person threw ink over AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, He is again in the controversy after a complaint filed by Mr Harish Khurana a resident of Rajouri Garden , in which AAP’s pamphlet distributed in the locality is aimed Polarizing the Muslim voters by publishing some non secular remarks.
AAP’s pamphlet exhibits that the BJP is a communal party and Muslims of Delhi did not have any option for them but now they should go with the Aam Admi Party only.
According to the model code of conduct no political party can appeal to any particular caste or religion for a favor which creates a disturbance in the society for securing the votes.
EC holds the distribution of such pamphlets as the prima facie evidence of the violation of Sub Para(3) of Para 1 of the model code of conduct envisaged by Election Commision and issued a notice to Arvind Kejriwal to explain before 11 am of 25th November.
