Khurshid backs HM for attending music launch after blast
Salman khurshid on Tuesday defended Home Minister Shushil kumar Shinde for attending Music Launch of a upcoming film saying that Shinde “has a life beyond Patna”.
BJP had criticised him for attending music launch in Mumbai hour after the serial blast that took place in Patna city.
External Affair Minister even hit back at BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi for going ahead with the Patna rally despite the blasts. After an event like this happens near the rally ground, Modi should have called off the event immediately.
He further said the law and order was the responsibility of the state government and if the state government was to ask Shinde or the Home Ministry to take over something, he would be there on the phone. “You criticised Shinde for carrying on with life as usual but nobody has asked questions that nothing happened to Modi, he went on with his speech. He (Modi) didn’t said a word about the people who died.
The Union Minister slammed Modi, saying that instead of attending to those injured in the blasts he went ahead with his speech ….much worse….much worse.
