BJP leader Vijay Goel slammed the sit-in protest of chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, saying that his sit-in protest has caused massive trouble to office goers in national capital. Kejriwal and his ministers sat on protest near the Rail Bhawan on Monday to press their demand to suspend three police officers who refused to make a series of arrests ordered by his ministers.

Addressing media persons in national capital on Monday, Goel said, “Kejriwal’s protest will not benefit the people of Delhi, instead it is causing major trouble, specially, to office goers.”

He also mentioned that four metros stations including Patel Chowk, Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhawan and Race Course remained closed between 9am to 1pm in the wake of the protest called by the Aam Aadmi Party. He also accused Delhi government of creating anarchy in national capital due to which people could not go to work in the secretariat.

“People cannot go to work in secretariat. If all the chief ministers of our states come and press their demands like this then how the administration of this country would function,” he said.

Taking a dig at Delhi government, Goel said that chief minister should take care of the areas that fall under its jurisdiction instead of demanding to bring Delhi police under its control. The BJP leader said, “On one hand Kejriwal takes support from Congress to form government in Delhi and on the other hand it agitates against Congress-led Central government.”
